Adolfo Nadal graduated Msc in Architecture with Honors from the Polytechnic University of Madrid (2005) and holds a Master in Advanced Studies in Advanced Architectural Design as well as a Advanced Research Certificate from Columbia University in the city of New York (2009). He has a broad professional and research experience with a particular focus algorithmic design and automation of non-critical processes. He is currently developing his PhD at the Computer Engineering Faculty of the UCM on the morphological consequences of human behaviour on the built environment through ad-hoc [multi-]agent based simulations.

During his professional career, he has worked for a number of international offices, among which Ove Arup & Partners, Toyo Ito and Associates, and UNStudio Van Berkel & Bos, where he directed the spanish project division as project leader, and participated in a wide range of projects and competitions, winning the first prize for the Busan World Business Center. He is currently architect at Arnaiz&Partners, where he leads the technological project deployment, and is founder and leader of archi[o]logics, a design think-tank for innovative thinking and a platform to cross-reference architecture studios.

His teaching experience includes various publications, conferences, and seminars. Adolfo has taught at Columbia University, University of Pennsylvania, Polytechnic University of Madrid, ETSA Sevilla University, Navarra University, and Las Palmas University.
