Medellín

Medellín river articulates and structures the territory at different levels: topography and physical but also social and at a cultural level creating important differences between their sides. There are several physic barriers such as roads, railways…that prevent the innahbitants to approximate near to the river.

The project is intended as a sewing territory operation introducing an element that serves as a germ to improve the existing connections. It tries to minimize existing differences between both shores and re-establish the culture of proximity with the river that characterizes the inhabitants of Medellín.
