Superstructure.Retiro Park

Generate a structure that superimposes a cultural grid to El Retiro park and acts as a catalyst for the knowledge for an ephemeral period. Faced with the current simplistic understanding of the annual Madrid book fair at a  programmatic level (book fair = fair where books are sell ) and also at a design level (set of booths arranged according to a regular pattern over a linear path) the system proposed is intended to reverse the actual situation.

The structure acts as a core where the different agents, activities, relationships…are inserted. It supports all the complex systems and interactions of the Madrid book fair and is fully developed seeking to strengthen and condensing it in order to maximize its diffusion abroad. The system aims to foster relations by fitting them into an extremely rigid grid with diffuse boundaries to introduce the outside nature.
