San Quintin, El Pardo

Archiologics has developed during 2 years a labour of construction management and on-site project planning in construction of the S.A.R. Building in San Quintin.

The project is undertaken as a reinterpretation of the classic spanish military headquarter typology, where sobriety, simplicity and practicality when solving constructive and functional issues take precedence over everything else. In this approach the project tries to adapt the built volume to the topography and keep the possibility of visual escapes that the Manzanares river banks offers.

The entire roof is a green roof that tries to blur the building with the surroundings of El Pardo offering a high climatic efficiency in the interior.
